I am a Dog Trainer and Human educator

I will guide you in the best practices to help you and your dog have the best possible life given the totality of the circumstances you bring me.

I will advocate for you and your dog and encourage ethical practices which promote favorable outcomes for all. We will talk about best case scenarios and works towards that together.

I will provide you with a means of communication, a deeper understanding of your dog’s needs and potential and hold you to a high standard if we work together. If you want results you need to immerse yourself in the work. There are no shortcuts or quick fixes.

I will not promise you the moon and the stars. Everybody dog’s history, genetics and circumstances are different. Just like their human counterpart. I will give you realistic and reasonable expectations because that is all life provides. If you expect your 12 year old dog to be perfect in a couple of weeks after he’s lived a life of abuse and learned to be terrified and bitten more times than you can remember? We need to talk about expectations. We focus on progress – not perfection. Steady, consistent improvement is money in the bank. It adds up over time. Well get there together.

I will not sugar coat the realities of your dog or your circumstance. That is manipulation masquerading as kindness and sympathy. I will shoot you straight. I will treat both you and your dog with professionalism, kindness, compassion and integrity.

I work daily with aggressive dogs, I am perfectly comfortable helping them come into a more balanced behavioural space.  However, if a dog owner cannot meet the minimum of civilized human interaction and feels the need to be rude, hostile or aggressive I have no interest in pursuing any type of professional engagement with them. My passion and professionalism cannot shine in that setting. Just like a dog who is mistreated cannot shine.
