Helping Families With Reactive Dogs Gain Confidence and Control

It escalated to the point where we were hesitant to have guests over because Leo would bark non stop at them and we had little control over what he might do. After reading every single review, I contacted Nick.

Nick trains so so many dogs, day in, day out, yet he treated Leo with dignity and respect and not like just another dog in training.
Nick didn’t just train our dog—he made our life and Leo’s better.

When Hope Was Running Out

I was feeling overwhelmed. Leo is extremely reactive—to people, dogs, motorcycles, bicycles—basically anything that moves or makes noise. Even someone just talking to us would set him off. We reached a point where we were losing hope.

Before finding Family K9, we had actually worked with another trainer, but unfortunately, that didn’t really help.

What I appreciated most is how Nick  emphasized the importance of understanding our dog.

We’re able to walk past many of his usual triggers without a reaction, something that felt impossible before. I even choose busier times of day now just to practice—and we actually enjoy our walks again.

From Reactive Biting Dog to New Quality Of Life For Dog and Owner

It was very clear right from the start that Nick has a skill set to deal with reactive dogs like mine.

Nick has offered continued follow ups at no additional cost. It is abundantly clear how much he cares about what he does, and how he believes in it too.

I’d give Nick 10 stars if I could. He is also exceptionally kind and personable.

We are grateful for you Nick 🙂
