Nova is a 5 year old dog with a history of reactivity, to both dogs and some humans. She displayed strong aggressive barking towards dogs when out on walks, pulled very hard on leash and was overall difficult to manage when out and about with her owners.  She also had “nipped” a couple of passerby’s while out.

This video of Nova demonstrates the changes in her after 2 weeks of training.

Nova has clarity as to what is expected of her now.  her owners have also been educated on best practices to maintain her training.

Despite prior attempts with another  trainer. They could not get Nova to control her impulses in the situations described above.  They could not get nor maintain her focus when needed.

Watch how open she is to taking food from me in the video.

Let’s be clear – she is not leaving the dogs alone and focused because fo the food.

In fact it is the reverse.

She is open to taking the food because her mind is not filled with the noise and clutter and raging emotions that produce reactivity.

Nova is sweet, silly and playful and all of that is wonderful – and we should never want to change that in any way – she just had to learn with clarity what we wanted of her and now not only will her owners lives get better – Sweet Nova will also live a better quality of life as a result of being calmer and more focused.
